Volkwin Marg

Professor, architect and author, Volkwin Marg, has owned Activ since 1976. He's a keen sailor and adventurer, and we owe all our gratitude to Volkwin, without whom Activ would have surely not been in existence today as this fine example of a historic sailing ship. Volkwin has, during his career, supported numerous cultural institutions and Activ is able to continue sailing the seven seas and making new discoveries due to Volkwin's philanthropical and generous donation of his ship to Activ Expedition Foundation. 
Luckily the donation does not entail end of Volkwin's participation, as Volkwin continues his work with Activ as a member of both the advisory board and the foundation board.
